Advancing Innovation Through Collaboration
Enabling meaningful collaborations
across the innovation ecosystem
Singapore Biodesign is the first Asian Global Affiliate of the renowned Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign. This recognition signifies that the programme has achieved the highest standards for a Biodesign training programme while demonstrating a good record of success and sustainability.
Since the conferment of the Global Affiliate status, Singapore Biodesign has been the reference for newer outfits in the development of Biodesign programmes in the region. It is also a member of the APAC Biodesign Alliance, promoting healthcare innovation education and training within the region.
Scaling Impact Across Asia
Through Biodesign training, clinical immersion engagements and broader ecosystem-building efforts, Singapore Biodesign has built a network of over 10 regional partners, enabling cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange to address unmet healthcare needs in the region.
In 2025, Singapore Biodesign launched its inaugural Regional Fellowship programme which brings together emerging innovation leaders from across Asia and equips them with the Biodesign methodology and hands-on exposure to Singapore’s healthcare innovation ecosystem. The programme is designed to seed long-term partnerships, with fellows serving as nodes for future collaboration and innovation within their home institutions and countries.
As Singapore Biodesign continues to grow its regional footprint, these partnerships play a critical role in scaling impact beyond Singapore, through a connected ecosystem of innovators and institutions.
